Yaroslav Scherbak
Yaroslav Scherbak is one of the most outstanding chess players in Ukraine, a seven-time champion of the Transcarpathian region among boys and girls in the relevant age categories. In 2015 he became a silver medalist of the Ukrainian Chess Championship among boys under 12, participated in the European Chess Championship (Croatia) and the World Chess Championship (Greece). In 2015, he was recognized as the best chess player in Ukraine among children aged 10 to 15 and received the Sozonov Prize from the All-Ukrainian Charitable Foundation "Children's Chess" under the leadership of Olena Boytsun. In 2019 he took 3-4 place in the finals of the Ukrainian Chess Championship among youngsters under 16 years old. At the moment, Yaroslav has been awarded the title of candidate for master of sports, FIDE rating in classical chess is 2202 ELO points ( https://ratings.fide.com/profile/14141078 ).

In 2019 he graduated from secondary school №1 in Svalyava with honors. He passed an external independent testing with the following results: mathematics - 186 points, Ukrainian language - 192 points, English - 194 points. In the same year he entered the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv in the first year of the Faculty of International Economics and Marketing, specialty «International Economics», where he is still studying.

The main interest is to study the features of the functioning of the international economy, both its special areas and in general. Other important interests are learning English (level B2 - C1), professional career of chess player and analyst in the field of e-sports (main disciplines - CS: GO and Dota 2), as well as a passion for reading books - both literary and science fiction.
